pastor

Our Pastor & His Wife

Elder Alfonzo Moore & Sister Lamekia Feggins-Moore

At the heart of our church community is a shared covenant to live by the true word of God and
lead His people with authenticity. Elder Alfonzo and Sister Lamekia both grew up in Columbus, Georgia, and their lives are living testaments to God’s miraculous healing, protection, and sovereign grace.

Testimonies of Grace & Calling

Both Elder Alfonzo and Sister Lamekia share a profound history of overcoming near-fatal trials, uniquely positioning them to serve with deep empathy and unshakeable faith:

  • Elder Alfonzo experienced God's healing power early in childhood after surviving a

severe poisoning incident that baffled doctors. Years later, after receiving a prophetic
warning, he survived a major car accident in Albany, Georgia. This pivotal moment led
him to fully surrender his life to Christ, culminating in a clear call to the ministry in the
late winter/early spring of 1999.

  • Sister Lamekia points to a defining moment in August 1998 following a serious car

accident. While recovering in the hospital, her grandmother’s pastor, visited her to pray.
The soul-searching question the pastor asked, paired with powerful words of encouragement, sparked a permanent shift in her spiritual journey, and solidified her faith in Christ.

Family & Connection

Elder Alfonzo and Sister Lamekia are the proud leaders of a beautiful, blended family of 6
children and 4 grandchildren. Elder Alfonzo’s greatest spiritual influence was his mother a
woman who feared and served God throughout his entire life. While Sister Lamekia’s greatest
spiritual influences are her husband, children, parents, grandmother, and siblings. Today, nothing brings the couple more joy than spending quality family time together. When they are not serving the ministry, you can find Elder Alfonzo watching sports or relaxing with family. Sister Lamekia enjoys unwinding by listening to music, reading, playing games, or simply resting in a quiet, peaceful room.

Ministry Philosophy & Vision

For Elder Alfonzo, pastoring is much more than Sunday mornings. His favorite part of the week is simply sharing the word with God’s people. He is driven by a core value to not just preach the Gospel, but to truly live by the Word of God daily. His burning vision for this church community over the coming years is centered on true discipleship: to reach lost souls and bring them to Christ. He prays not for "pew fillers," but to cultivate a passionate community of believers who truly hunger and thirst for righteousness.
